BLOW OUT

All I can say is WOW! This was the definition of blow out. Ever since he started eating baby food (which he still gags at and hates) the consistency & color of his number 2's have changed...as you can see in the picture. The best part about the whole thing is we were at church & there were NO wet wipes in the bag! But luckily there was a camera so we had to take a picture. Jeremy & I were laughing so hard...good thing we were late so we were sitting in the very back. Jeremy had to take Cameron home and wash him off and change his outfit. One thing is for sure, church will never be the same now that we have a kid, it is a little more entertaining :)
Things are coming out of Cameron on the other end too...he is getting his first tooth! He has been the best kid about it too, he isn't really fussy at all he just drools like crazy.

Turkey Day!

My Thanksgiving morning started off with Amanda and I running the Cold Turkey race...and it was cold, but it was a lot of fun! Jeremy played flag football with about 40 guys from our ward (boys don't take pictures-therefore there are none of him since I wasn't there). Thanks mom and dad for watching Cameron for us and get dinner all ready for everyone by noon!!

Me with my two cute boys!

Cameron sits up like a pro...

Mommy and Cameron

Daddy and Cam man

Grammy J and little C

Great Maw Maw Genive, Daddy, and Camster

This was a total Kodak moment!! I couldn't believe it when I looked over and saw Great Paw Paw Herbie holding Cam. I ran from the dining room to get my camera and right before he tried to pass him off I snapped this picture. The reason this was such a shock is because Herbie has never held Cameron...every time someone asks if he wants to hold him he says, "no I'm ok."

My mom and dad stopped running around long enough to take a picture with their three daughters! I love Thanksgiving and am so thankful for my families :) I am so lucky to have such wonderful parents who do so much for us. I am so blessed to have such a great husband and the cutest little boy ever. I appreciate my health and all the comforts I enjoy. Another Thanksgiving is over, it was a small one this year (Jeremy's family wasn't here this year, besides his grandparents) but it was still a wonderful day!

Big people food...

Cameron got his first taste of "normal" food. We went to his 6 month well-check today and his pediatrician said we could start solids. They recommend you start with veggies (orange ones then green ones), move to fruits and then to cereal. So we started off with carrots.
He kept grabbing for the spoon and wouldn't let me feed him.

He reaches for everything, I can tell feeding him is going to be a messy time. Maybe we will feed him naked next time :)

I think he was disappointed that he wasn't getting to eat cheese fries :( "All this hype about big people food and this is what you give me?!" I'm not sure he was in the mood to eat though, he did get 3 shots today and some other yucky medicine. He was a little worn out and cranky...hopefully the next time he will like it better.

Needless to say he went straight from his high chair into the bath!!
Now that Cameron is 6 months old he weighs 15 lbs 9 oz (20%) and his height is 26 3/4 in (60%) He is such a GOOD kid! He sleeps through the night, 12 hours with NO problems or waking up! He loves his bath time and loves looking in the mirror at himself. He is always smiling and laughing. Loves to be scared and laughs when you say "boo". Cameron looks around at everything and loves watching his dog Tica. He needs to see new surroundings as he gets bored easily. We walk around the house most of the day looking at everything (even the pantry and the garage!) He isn't rolling over as much (but probabaly because of the helmet) I am guessing he won't be crawling any time soon.

3 years & counting!!

Jeremy and I celebrated our 3 year anniversary this weekend (a little early...the actual day is the 25th.) Park City has a lot of meaning to us. Jeremy asked me to marry him in Park City and we also spent 2 nights in the Marriott Resort in Park City after our wedding before we headed to North Carolina. So what better place to celebrate our anniversary? We stayed in the Marriott Vacation Club-Mountain Side Resort Thrusday night through Saturday. A HUGE Thanks to Margo, Rick and their kids for watching Cameron so we could get away. It was really hard to leave Cam for the first time, and I felt sad when I drove off without him. I texted Margo several times that first day/night to make sure he was ok and see what he was doing because I missed him. Jeremy said I needed a break...I didn't really think I did, but after we were there for a few hours I realized I NEEDED a break and was thankful for it! Also, a big thank you to my parents for watching Tica...she always loves going to Grammy & Grampy's house because she is spoiled and allowed to lay on their couches.
This is a picture from our room, we had an awesome view from the 7th floor. We had such a relaxing, fun time shopping, eating out (we found a great BBQ place), watching a movie (we rented "Breach" popped popcorn and got comfy on the couch in our room, sleeping in was soooo nice, sitting in the hot tub at night was a little bit of heaven! The ski resort opened on Saturday, and we planned to ski/snowboard, but changed our minds when we found out only 2 runs were open and they were charging $50!! You can only ski the same run so many times before you get bored. Plus the snow isn't that good yet...mostly man made snow so far! $100 seemed like a rip off, so we decided to wait until a little later in the season when we get some better snow. Pleanty of people (the die-hards) hit the slopes though.

We didn't take very many pictures, but did catch this awesome sunset one night. It was so pretty and filled the whole sky.

Jeremy suprised me with BILLY JOEL tickets. He gave me my gift the night we got to the hotel and I screamed so loud and kept screaming and celebrating jumping up and down because I was SOOO excited, I am sure everyone in the whole hotel heard me! The bad news is the concert was supposed to be Friday night and they announced that Billy was sick so they were postponing the concert :( Oh-well I guess I have something to look forward to now! It was hard to leave the life of luxury, but I couldn't wait to go get Cameron, we were going to go to dinner first and then pick him up but I couldn't wait any longer. so we decided to pick him up first, I ran into the house to find out he was taking a nap!! Thanks Jeremy for planning such an awesome weekend and for the best gift ever!! I love you and look forward to many, many more anniversaries with you...

Should I be worried??

I'm sure everyone remembers the infamous "birdie finger" at church, which was hillarious. I thought that was just a one time incident, but apparently he really enjoys Mr. Tall finger! Just look at the strength he has in that one finger...he is holding his own bottle with it. I don't take pictures every time he flips the bird (because I would be taking several every day). This kid cracks me up!!

Ra Ra Ra sis boom ba!

My niece Lindsie started doing cheerleading this summer and they had competitions the last 2 Saturdays. She was so cute and works really hard at everything she does. Their team took 2nd place.

Cousin Cameron was there to cheer her on. Lindsie loves Cameron and after she was done she just wanted to hold him. It was so cute, when I haded him to her he put both arms around her neck like he was giving her a hug (I didn't get my camera out in time). Lindsie is going to be a great babysitter!
