Valentines Day - 02/14/2017
2/14/17
Valentine's class parties are always so exciting! It was one of my favorites days of school when I was a kid. I love watching my kids enjoy it too. Cameron wanted a soccer field box so this is what we came up with. I didn't have time to figure out the nets for the goal, but it worked!
I volunteered in Mackenzie's class for her party. So I was only able to get one quick picture of Cameron, their parties were at the same time!
At one of the stations they had snacks while they heard a story. Cade made it a little difficult to volunteer, but he had fun being there and eating Kenzies' food.
The whole class had the same bags. They made them the day before in class.
At another station they made the headband things they are wearing.
These were the Valentines they gave to their friends this year.

That night we did our family tradition...the kids hide in their rooms and then I send a Valentine, knock and run :)

Birds
We had a bird build a next in a tree in our front yard. The problem is, it was so low and slanted that a baby bird fell out. Our neighbor was on a walk with his dog and didn't want the dog to eat the bird. So he hurried and scooped it up and put it back in the nest. The next day the bird was back on the ground. We think the mommy bird pushed it out because a human had touched it. Sadly it died and so we buried it right there at the base of the tree. We were worried that another bird would fall out or a dog would jump up and eat the other birds right from the next since it was so low. But finally the birds grew big enough to fly away. Such a fun and sad thing for my kids to experience!
Last day of preschool
Mackenzie's last day of pre-school 2016! They always have a fun carnival and the teachers dress up like clowns.

Busy Saturday
May 21, 2016 was the Black Knights last game of the season. They had an awesome season, only losing 2 games!
3 goals for this stud
Coach daddy and supportive sister, always cheering on Cameron!!
Later that day we went to dinner at Chick-Fil-A. It was a customer appreciation day or a birthday or something. They had an AWESOME balloon artist. He made a minion for Cameron (but he actually could have been Homer Simpson too lol) and Mackenzie requested Olaf.
Cameron wanted Yoda painted on his face. Surprisingly, Mackenzie didn't want her face painted.
Then we went to a movie. I don't remember which one, but it wasn't Teenage Mutant Nina Turtles! They just wanted a picture with one...ha ha!
39 years OLD
Happy birthday to ME! 39 years old and 8 months pregnant :)
Yummy dinner at Cheesecake Factory with Jeremy. My parents babysat Cameron and Mackenzie so we could go to dinner and a movie.
Birthday balloons and smelly flowers! Behind that you can see a lego creation that Cameron made all by himself. He worked so hard on it and I meant to get a picture of it! It says Happy Birthday and is a cute lego guy too. He is so creative.
Spanish day
Cameron's school had a parent breakfast. We got to go and enjoy eating with him before his class started. Then that morning they also had the Spanish emersion classes perform their song or dances they have been working on.
Cameron's partner was Elizabeth. They did the cutest dance ever!! He was so focused and serious about this dance. He practiced at home pretty much every day. He also practiced anywhere he could...we would be at a restaurant and he would just bust out his moves. It was always funny to watch him practice because it was just his moves, you didn't see his partner so the moves didn't make much sense. But when we finally got to see them preform together it was the best!
Grammy and Grampy loved it too....especially Grampy!
Cameron's Spanish teacher. She was amazing! She played the guitar and sung the song they danced to.
The cutest "dance couple" EVER!
Weekly monitoring
I had to go into the hospital every week to get hooked up for these stress tests and monitoring. Due to my age....ha ha. I didn't think 38 was old, but apparently for pregnancy its "high risk". So here is sit every week for 30-45 minutes. I try to relax, but really all I do is think of how much I could be doing and needed to get done during this "prime" time that Mackenzie was in school. Oh well, at least it gave me reassurance that Cade was a perfect baby and there were no health problems along the way!
