Lagoon

Grammy & Grampy paid for everyone to go to Lagoon on Saturday. The cousins were so cute with Cameron and had fun riding all the kiddie rides with him for the first few hours before lunch. It was Grampy's work Lagoon Day so there was a nice big lunch catered in. After lunch Jeremy and the older cousins went on the big rides.

Bulgy the Whale was Cameron's first ride, Troy was excited to go on it with him. Actually the very first ride was a haunted house ride right when we first walked in the park. Cameron wasn't scared and kept saying "dark" and "monsters".

The lady bug drop was probabaly his favorite. It goes up really high and then just drops fast....the goes up a little more and drops, doing that several times. He was laughing really hard and kept saying "again".

You can tell on Mallory's face and Janessa's that the ride just dropped....

Mallory and Cameron had so much fun, she was so cute to go on all the rides with him and hold his hand and help him.

Mommy even went on a few rides (don't tell Dr. Later) of course they were some of the kiddie rides....like this mini title wave ride, the kid swing etc.

Grammy, Cam & mommy are on the second row from the left. Cameron thought it was fun when Grammy rode the rides too. They went on the tilt a whirl (my moms favorite ride) and all she does is laugh her head off....so Cameron thought it was so fun to ride on that one with Grammy and when they got off he said "more".

Daddy, Cam, Janessa, Lindsie, Troy and Spencer waiting for the new roller coaster ride Bombora. It is a big roller coaster that Cameron said "goes so fast" and "so high". I couldn't believe he wasn't scared of the bigger rides Jeremy took him on. He has no fear and wanted to do everything.

He fell asleep a few minutes after we got in the car to head home. We all stopped at Cafe Rio to eat dinner and he stayed asleep on Jeremy's lap which is a sure sign of complete exhaustion. He was such a trooper for not having a nap, barely eating anything, and running around in the sun/heat all day he never cried, whined or threw a fit (until he woke up from this nap and just wanted to go back to sleep...)

This is a video of them on Bombora, Jeremy and Cameron are in the very front too! They rode this a few times. Pretty much every ride Cameron would say "again", but the funniest was when we rode the swing and I everyone had gotten off and I was trying to get him out, but he had a death grip on the handles and kept saying "NO, more swing, again"! It was funny & cute until the worker girl came over and told us we needed to get off. I tried to tell Cameron we could ride it again but we had to go get back in line and wait our turn. I was finally able to pry his little hands from the bars and we went back in line.

Mallory and Cameron were so cute riding these boats.

Big Boy Bed

Cameron got a big boy bed when he turned 2 and he LOVES it! I keep forgetting to get some pictures, but remembered the other day when he was taking a nap. It's so funny how he sleeps in the corner....it's good because he doesn't fall out of bed that way. He seems so much older now that he is in his big boy bed. He gets sooooo excited about his bed and the first thing he wants to show people is his sheets, "I have bear sheets" he says. I haven't attempted to put the comforter and decorative pillows on the bed yet. There's pretty much no reason to at this point, he uses his bed as a trampoline and play area during the day so it would just be stressful for me to try and keep the bed made!

He made the transition so well, we had NO problems at all. He got out of bed and came out of his room a few times the first few days but all we had to do was take him back in his room and he would go right to sleep.

Cute videos...

I watched 2 neighbor kids the other day and the one little boy is Cameron's age, they have a lot of fun together as you can see in the video!!

We went to the park today and Cameron loves to climb the rock wall. He cracks me up....he isn't really afraid to try anything and once he does something he is so proud of himself. The wall is actually really steep and it was a little scary for me the first time he tried climbing it! I am glad he is so adventerous and coordinated :)

Future soccer pro??

Jeremy's dad came to visit and we all went to Jeremy's brother's kids' soccer game one Saturday. They had given Cameron a soccer ball for his birthday and he was so excited, he wanted to bring it along that day. So Cameron and Paw Paw Garry played a little soccer together. Cameron had a blast kicking the ball the whole game. He is one fast little kid too!! I think he just might have a little soccer player on our hands. I can't wait until we are spending Saturday's' watching him play!!

The big 3-5

So, it's sad to say, but this is the only picture I got of Jeremy's birthday. May is just a crazy month....after getting everyone's mother's day gifts, planning my birthday get-a-way (which was really for both our birthdays we just went my b-day weekend since his mom was coming into town over Memorial weekend), and planning Cameron's birthday party/making his cakes, and Jeremy's mom in town the whole idea of planning anything else or cooking another dinner wasn't on my mind (especially since his birthday was 2 days after Cameron's and the day after Cameron's big family party!!) My mom usually does a big birthday dinner for both Jeremy and I at her house, but we told her not to worry about it this year. Jeremy's birthday fell on a Sunday, which is never a fun day to have a birthday on. I made breakfast, we went to church, Jeremy opened his gift from me (actually Cameron opened it) and we went to his brother's house for dinner. Happy Birthday Jeremy :)

2 years old!!

I can't believe my little boy is 2 years old already! Time has gone by fast. He has learned soooo much in these 2 years....in fact everywhere I go people always tell me they thought he was at least 3 by the way he talked, the things he knew, and how coordinated he is. Cameron really is a smart little boy! Here is a list of things Cameron has accomplished/learned/done in the past 2 years (I am sure I can't list everything): walked at 10 months; learned all his colors and shapes by 18 months; can count to 8; Loves to help clean up; gets soooo excited over everything; knows certain emotions and tells me when he (or someone else) is happy, sad, or mad; favorite foods include all vegetables (especially broccoli, asparagus, carrots, cauliflour, lettuce and cucumbers...he always asks for cucumbers) strawberries, ham, cheese fries, chicken, fish, and macaroni & cheese; is an outdoors boy and has been going down slides by himself since he was 11 months, isn't afraid to try anything and will jump off of everything; Cameron is a social boy and loves to play with friends or any kids; laughs all the time; loves to sing and listen to music; wants to know everyones names and calls my friends by their names; learned to climb out of his crib and sleeps in a big boy bed now; has a fun personality and seems to be a leader (or dictator :) he loves to tell people what to do, where to sit or stand etc.
We had a family birthday party and blew up the bounce house...

Cameron enjoyed playing in it before anyone came. Good thing he got some play time in it because about 15 minutes after everyone showed up it started to rain!

Of course there was a Mickey Mouse theme and so all the balloons and table decorations were of Mickey and friends.

I made a Mickey Mouse cake. It was a delicious chocolate cake with chocolate frosting.

And I made the Minnie Mouse Cake a strawberry, vanilla cake with fresh strawberries in the center layer with a butter cream frosting!

He loved everyone singing to him and blew out his candle without any help.

the cousins helped Cameron open his presents....

He got a lot of fun toys and gifts, but I think his favorite was the 4-wheeler he got from Grammy & Grampy. We had him open that last since we knew once he got on it he wouldn't get off. He was so funny and serious on it! He needs some practice learning how to steer it.

It's so nice to have family around to celebrate these special days/times in life! I am thankful to have family close by and be able to enjoy spending time together.

Grammy T came to town for Cameron's birthday and we all went to the zoo and to dinner at Mimi's Cafe.

This is one of my favorite pictures of him....I love it because it shows his little personality of how he is all the time. He can get so serious when he knows you are going to take a picture.

You can't have a birthday dinner without birthday cake/pie!

he went to town....

riding the elephant at the zoo

Jeremy's brother, his wife and their kids came to the zoo with us....of course the kids all wanted to climb on the tigers for a picture, Cameron was more interested in eating his granola bar i think!
