Spring dance recital 2016

Mackenzie had another awesome dance performance!

She did her tap performance first.  Such a fun one to watch!

Next was her ballet performance.  She was so cute.

Aunt Margo, Lindsie, and Troy came the first night to watch her.  They are always so nice to bring her a rose.  She get so excited (and shy) that they come to cheer her on!

Then Janessa, Grammy, and Grampy got to come watch her the second night.

Of course they are always thoughtful and bring her pretty flowers too!  Mackenzie is such a cute performer.  She works hard at her dances and does a great job remembering them.

Cameron is always so proud of his little sister.  He is a good supportive brother!

Just like that

Doesn't this look like the face of a super proud, excited girl!  She just learned to ride a bike in less than 2 minutes!  Quick learner, just like her brother!  Wowzers.  Daddy took off the training wheels and said "let's try it without them for a little bit"  He had no idea she would take off and have no problems!  See ya later training wheels April 2016.

She wouldn't get off her bike.  She rode the rest of the evening.  She could turn and go on and off the side walk.  She even started herself when she stopped.

I see a bigger bike in her near future!

1st grade field trip

Headed to the Bean Museum in Provo with the first graders!  Being on a bus for this long, walking around a museum and keeping track of a bunch of kids, 7 months pregnant is going to be fun!!

Lots of fun animals to learn about and interesting things to see.  Not at all what I expected.  Seriously, I thought I was going to a bean factory...somewhere they made and packaged beans or something??

This was an awesome exhibit of a bunch of different butterfly species made into a giant butterfly.  We had our sack lunches at a park across the street and then loaded back onto the buses for a long ride back to the school.  I didn't lose any kids in my group, nobody broke any of the museum animals, nobody cried, everyone had fun and I am ready for a nap, it was a success.

Diva

So Mackenzie asked me if she could relax and watch a show.  I said yes and put on a show for her.  She said she wanted to relax her feet and have some snacks.  I told her she could lay on the couch and put her feet up.  She said she wanted that foot spa thing with relaxing powder in it.  She wanted to "really relax".  Then after i got her all set up, she asked for an "ice cold drink and some snacks"  Where did this little diva come from?

Bday celebrations

We went to Aunt Margo's to celebrate Mallory's birthday.  It's always fun to get together with everyone and eat, laugh, open presents!

We gave Mallory the "bean boozled" game for her birthday.  We decided to play it and try out the gross jelly beans.  Cameron wanted to keep playing.  I think this was the third round and he got "barf"  he said "I don't care if I lose, I am done, I am spitting this out" as he ran off to barf....

seriously, best picture ever!  He was dry heaving and gagging.

I don't remember what Jeremy got, but it doesn't look like he liked it very well.  I ended up with some that weren't too bad.  Grammy even played.  Luckily she didn't get any gross ones either.  What an interesting game...lol

Jazz game

Jeremy and Cameron went to the Jazz game with his Junior Jazz tickets he got.  Cameron came home so excited to show me the blanket he caught.  He said the bear threw out blankets and he caught one.  It was a really nice, big, soft blanket too.  He was pretty proud!

Storm troopers.  We went as a rec team playing in our second tournament, playing up a year...playing older kids.  They did awesome, made it to the finals.  Took second place!
