This is what was in the golden egg....

So this is how we revealed the sex/gender of our next kid to my family on Easter!

Janessa opened up the golden egg and found this MOUNDS candy bar with a note that said
"Almond Joys have NUTS, Mounds DON'T!"

Easter 2011

Easter morning started out with the traditional chunky cinnamon french toast with cinnamon syrup & strawberries....and cheesy eggs. Delish!
Then we headed downstairs to see what the Easter Bunny brought Cameron.
Grammy T sent a package of stuff...of course Cam's favorite thing was the singing/walking Donald Duck.
Then it was off to church. Cameron was so cute to "pose" for a mini photo shoot in his Easter outfit. He was cracking me up. I just said I wanted to take a few pictures and he just started doing his thing. I took like 20 pictures ;)
Cameron & mommy. I have no idea where he learned the cheesy smile from....if you take the picture while he says "cheese" then this is the face you get.

Cam & daddy. Jeremy & I had to speak in sacrament...what a great way to ruin our Easter Sunday (or maybe I should say a good way to ruin everyone elses' Easter!)
"CHEESE"
After church we headed to Grammy & Grampys for a huge egg hunt and dinner. They hid about 200 eggs full of candy and money. Jeremy & I hid the "golden egg" which was our announcement of the sex of our next kid!

Cameron had a blast on the egg hunt. He knew what he was doing and would get sooo excited when he would find an egg. I loved these pictures of him in the back yard hunting for eggs.

Everyone looking for the "golden egg"....Jeremy hid it so nobody would find it!!

After all the eggs were found, we went inside....the kids counted their money and seperated it from the candy. Cameron would open a egg and say "oh money" and put it in a bag. If it was candy in the egg he would say "yummy candy" and put it in the bag or his mouth. We all decided it was time to eat dinner, but Janessa wouldn't stop until her money was counted...she scored with over $13.

On Saturday morning we took Cameron to the Riverton egg hunt. It was a mad house! But so much fun....so glad we did it. Cameron sat on the Easter Bunny's lap and got a prize.

Here he is waiting with anticipation for them to shout GO. They had different sections roped off of age groups. He was in the 2 and under area.

It was so cute that he knew what to do.

As you can see....there were about a million people in just the 2 and under area. They obviously planed for a ton of kids because the grass was covered with candy, eggs, gift certificates, and stuffed animals. Cameron's basket was full. As we were trying to leave the area, I noticed a cute little boy and his dad and his basket only and 2 things in it, so I said to Cameron "we should share some of our stuff with this little boy, he didn't get much." So we gave him some stuff. It's never too early to teach kids empathy and kindness!

Cameron sporting the mask and pinwheel he got at the egg hunt. He talked about it the ride home, and the next day. He still talks about Grammy & Grampys egg hunt and makes me hide the eggs at home & then he opens them up! I wonder how long this is going to last....maybe I need to put the Easter stuff away :) It was definitely a FUN Easter, holidays just keep getting more & more fun the older Cameron gets!

Mowing the lawn....

I got Cameorn his very own lawn mower so he can help Daddy mow the lawn. It is hillarious to watch him and how serious he is about it....he really gets his work face on. I didn't get a good video, but when they first started mowing Cameron was walking up and down pushing his lawn mower right along side of daddy following what he did. Such a cute kid!

Yard work

Cameron loves to help and always wants to be doing what mommy or daddy are doing. I bought him his own rake and shovel the other day. he was soooo excited to "help" rake the leaves up. We spent a few hours Saturday doing yard work while we could....in between the rain/snow days we have been having!

Good times

Cameron gets sooo excited when he sees Jayden. He asks to play with Jayden everyday. He knows which house is Jaydens and points it out every time we drive by. Jayden turned 2 the other day and got this 4 wheeler for his birthday. I wanted to see if Cameron liked it before I got him one for his birthday coming up! He had a blast. One of his new favorite words is "awesome" and he says it all dramatic and drawn out "Awwhsome" and that's what he said.

I think it will take awhile for him to get the concept of steering down. It was so cute to watch them ride around, but wore me out pulling them off the grass every few seconds and getting them back on the sidewalk!

Easter Bunny

Cameron and I went to the mall a few days ago to look for some shoes for him. We didn't find any shoes, but we found the Easter Bunny! There was a little girl in front of us that was too scared to go see the Easter Bunny....Cameron was sick of waiting his turn so he finally ran past her and over to the bunny. I apologized to the other mom for Cameron's excitement, she said it was fine her little girl was obviously in no hurry. I wasn't planning on buying any pictures, but of course I couldn't resist...this was his first time seeing the Easter Bunny! Cameron was so cute any kept pointing to items on the bunny saying "glasses", "white", "soft", then he would touch his feet and say "hop hop hop". After Cameron climbed up on the bench, by himself, and was sitting there talking to the bunny I told the lady to go ahead and take some pictures. There were some cute ones of him on the Easter Bunny's lap, but I thought this was the cutest one of him giving the Easter Bunny five. He talks about this every day now and loves to look at the picture, he says "Easter Bunny, nice....five....sit lap...Cameron and bunny."

This isn't the best picture because it is a picture of a picture :) Of course they wouldn't let you take any pictures with your own camera while there because they want you to buy the ones they take.

New hat

We went to Gymboree to get a gift for my bro-in-law & sis-in-law's new addition to their family and I saw this cute hat. I put it on Cameron while I was shopping to make sure he would leave it on & he did so we bought it.

He left it on most of the day, but sometimes he would take it off to look at it and put it back on. I think he looks so handsome in it! I had to take a few pictures even though we were trying to get out the door....
I put on his coat and we were closer to leaving, but I had to snap a few more :) He was being such a HAM as you can tell. I tried to get him to stop laughing and acting crazy and then he was "Mr. Serious".....or "Mr. ok lets go mom"!

He looks so grown up!

Snow fun

We headed up to Park City with some friends to enjoy a day of tubing.

It was $10 for the kiddie hill. There was this fun ride with the tubes hooked onto it that would just pull them in circles too. We didn't see the kid tubes so we put them in the adult tubes, until we realized the kid tubes were over by the kiddie hill. They fit in them much better :) Daddy and Cameron

Cameron and his buddy Jayden.

Cameron and Jayden racing down the hill. It was so much fun to watch him, he was laughing so hard.

Such a big kid....getting in the tube all by himself

I had to laugh when he fell and just stuck his arms out, it reminded me of the scene from the movie "The Christmas Story". He did a good job of pulling the tube by himself and getting on the people mover thing! He had so much fun...we will be heading back there soon. Especially since it just snowed a few feet today, nothing like Utah spring weather :)
