Christmas Eve 2015
Started off the morning making the famous Christmas breakfast wreath...that takes ALL day long to make!! But tastes like heaven.
Then off to my parents for one of the best get togethers of the year. The cousins have fun playing the present game. Especially Cameron who makes everyone laugh every time by stealing the present he wants!
Awe cute twinners!!
So as the tradition goes, each kid brings one present to open after dinner and Mackenzie opened her present...it was a book called "I'm going to be a big sister". It took a second for everyone to understand what that meant, but once they did it got super loud with cheers and lots of excitement. Since we already knew the sex of the baby (I had the doctor mail me the results in an envelope and gave the unopened envelope to my friend. So she opened it and found out what I was having before I knew!) She had made me a cake so we told everyone we would bring it Christmas morning to Margo and Ricks for the big reveal!!
I love these kids! We were missing Michele, Barry, Janessa (in Korea) and Spencer who were all in Arizona :(
Once we got home the kids opened one more present...pajamas of course :) Then we put out cookies and a note for santa. This year all Cameron really wanted was REAL GOLD!! He specified he wanted it to be REAL. He said that Santa could totally get gold. Then we tried to talk him out of it saying, you don't want any toys or anything? He quickly said, "if I have GOLD then I can buy anything I want." Oh boy, he is one smart thinking kid!! Mackenzie asked for duct tape :) Good thing, because Santa will be spending all his money on GOLD and won't have anything left!!
Classic Skating
Just a little outing to Classic Skating during Christmas break...
Got to think of lots of things to do to have fun and stay busy!
A great place to wear your kids out and have fun at the same time!!
Just showing off..."look mom one leg" lol
Traditions
The group has slowly dwindled down to just my family and my parents, but we are still keeping the tradition alive as long as we can! We eat at Training Table and then head to the cemetery to put ornaments on the tree in remembrance of my Grandma Ora and her two sisters. The cemetery has cookies and hot chocolate for everyone and a beautiful drive through the cemetery lit up by thousands of luminaries.
Junior Jazz 2015
Cameron is having fun playing basketball. He has started getting better ball control and dribbling. He usually made at least one or two baskets a game.
The thing he is best at is stealing the ball and going down for a fast break.
Dance recital....Christmas program 2015
I am going to be SAD when she grows up. I LOVE watching her dance at this age. There isn't anything cuter! Mackenzie performed her tap dance first...
Doesn't she look so cute!!! And excited. She did awesome. I may have smiled the entire time!
Next was ballet and a cute "present for mommy" song!
Throw a tutu on under the tap costume and voila you have a ballet costume :)
Grammy and Grampy are always so good to come support the grandkids activities. And so thoughtful to bring her flowers.
