24th of July (and Karl Malone's bday)

Since the 24th of July fell on a Sunday, Jeremy got Monday off to celebrate. I planned a fun little family day. It started off with breakfast at IHOP (I crave pancakes when I am pregnant) and then we went to a place called Trafalga to let Cameron ride the rides. We went to buy tickets and we found out that 3 and under were FREE....so basically we only had to pay for the rides that Jeremy had to go on with him. We ended up spending $6 for several hours of fun.

The merry-go-round is always a favorite....

I am glad Jeremy took him on these splash bumper boats and not me (actually I might not have minded too bad since it was such a hot day)....but each tube is armed with water guns and you can squirt people. They shoot pretty far because Jeremy managed to hit me through the gate while I was watching. You see the water fountains in the back? Well they got bumped into them and were "soaking wet" when they got off the ride.

Next were the race cars and Cameron said "they go so fast, round and round in circles so fast!"

I lost count of how many times he rode the airplanes and the frog hopper, he just kept saying "again" and half the time he got to stay on the ride without getting off since it wasn't very busy!

I love that he puts his arms in the air, he put them up first and then the other kids followed him.

He was laughing and having a blast, it was hard to get him off this ride!

We got home, ate lunch and all took naps. When we woke up it was time to go to grammy and grampy's house for a BBQ and fireworks.

they had bags with prizes and fireworks to give all the grand-kids. Cameron's bag had a huge sheet of stickers. Of course he had to stick them all over his arm and Janessa's leg and the other cousin's faces.

He was excited to do sparklers again and watch the fireworks. He remained a little bit cautious, which is a good thing, he was so cute to go put the sparkler in the bucket of water when he was done.

The weather had us a little worried, but my parents had the back yard all set up and decorated to eat outside and let the kids play games. Luckily the rain waited until the last 5 minutes of us doing fireworks. It was a great day. Cameron was worn out and got to sleep past his bedtime but he sure slept good that night!

A day at the barn

We met my friend Amanda and her son Quinn at Einsteins for breakfast Saturday and then went to the barn where they board their horse. I figured since Jeremy got home late Friday night that he could use the morning/afternoon to sleep.

There is a pony named Thunder there and the boy who owns him let Cameron and Quinn ride on him. Amanda thought this was a much better idea since her horse is a lot bigger and harder for the kids to ride.

Cameron and Quinn sporting their stylish helmets.

After riding the boys gave Thunder a bath by squirting him off with a hose and then they got to brush him.

Amanda brought a bucket of apples for us to feed all the horses. Cameron laughed every time he fed one and then said "again".

Cameron hasn't stopped talking about riding Thunder and wearing a helmet. He had so much fun!

While daddy's away....Cam & Mommy play

Jeremy went to China and India for two weeks....so Cameron and mommy had lots of time to do things. And daddy can see us from the blog while he is away! Of course we did LOTS of fun things like parks, movies, parks, swimming, parks, the aquarium, and Grammy and Grampy took Cam to Wheeler Farm (we didn't get any pictures of those activities though!)

Cameron is my little shopping buddy! He was cracking me up and everyone else that walked by him....saying "omighosh he is so cute" and "oh how adorable, that's cute you let him dress up" The whole time I was thinking "if only his dad could see him now!" I couldn't resist taking the pictures because he is hillarious walking around Nordstrom Rack like this and saying "march, march, march" and marching around. He is still little enough that we shouldn't be worried right?!?

Cameron wore himself out at Classic Fun Center in the bounce zone and the jungle part. He jumped right in with the big kids, climbing up these huge slides that even some of the big kids struggled with. A lady came up to me while we were there and asked if that was my little boy. I told her "yes" and she said "wow, he has no fear does he?"

Another thing Cameron LOVES to do is play in water and run around! We went to Thanksgiving Point one day and I just let him get "soaking wet". We did this for over an hour and the only time he stopped was for 30 seconds when he sat on the bench....good thing I have a quick trigger finger because these are some of my favorite pictures of him!

4th of July

It was an interesting 4th of July this year! Jeremy is in China so he wasn't able to celebrate with us and the weather was pretty crappy, but other than that we had a great time! We started off the morning eating breakfast at IHOP and then we all headed to Last Chance Lakes. Margo and Rick have their 5th wheel out there to stay in until they build their house. And it's a good thing they had it out there because when we got there the wind was blowing really bad and then the rain came. We all piled in there until the little storm passed.

Aunt Michele, Grampy and Grammy

Spencer, Cameron and Troy watching a movie together
I thought it was soooo cute, Cameron saw them all up there and said "Cameron go up there, climb up ladder." So he hung out with them, but mostly wanted to just go up and down the ladder :)

All the kids eating lunch and watching a movie until the storm passed.....
Lindsie and Cameron getting ready for a ride. We all had fun riding the 4 wheelers and the Rhino around.

Of course Cameron had to drive the boat and "go so fast....zoom"

finally we got out on the lake and watched Lindsie and Troy wake board

Grampy, Cam and Grammy

and Uncle Rick do the air chair. This thing makes me laugh so hard...it is so funny to watch. You basically just ride up and down and fly through the air.

Doing sparklers at Grammy and Grampy's house. They gave the grand kids their 4th of July sacks with prizes etc. This was Cameron's first time doing sparklers or even seeing fireworks! He had so much fun. As you can see in the videos below....he was so funny and kept saying "again!"
