Cameron has always LOVED his changing table...it's his favorite place to be! He always talks away when he is on his changing table especially after his bath. He just got out of the bath and is getting ready for bed now. This is the cutest video of him, I just wish I knew what he was saying! He is 7 months old now...

Christmas time
We tried to go see Santa at the mall, but after waiting 30 minutes Cameron was tired and started to protest waiting in line by crying!! So we quickly aborted our mission and I figured we could try it again another day. I wasn't too excited to pay $30 for one picture. Then I heard the Harley Davidson store was having Santa come to their store on Saturday. I couldn't ask for anything better....Santa on a harley, free pictures, hot chocolate and doughnuts! This was a perfect way to celebrate ;)

BLOW OUT
All I can say is WOW! This was the definition of blow out. Ever since he started eating baby food (which he still gags at and hates) the consistency & color of his number 2's have changed...as you can see in the picture. The best part about the whole thing is we were at church & there were NO wet wipes in the bag! But luckily there was a camera so we had to take a picture. Jeremy & I were laughing so hard...good thing we were late so we were sitting in the very back. Jeremy had to take Cameron home and wash him off and change his outfit. One thing is for sure, church will never be the same now that we have a kid, it is a little more entertaining :)

Turkey Day!
My Thanksgiving morning started off with Amanda and I running the Cold Turkey race...and it was cold, but it was a lot of fun! Jeremy played flag football with about 40 guys from our ward (boys don't take pictures-therefore there are none of him since I wasn't there). Thanks mom and dad for watching Cameron for us and get dinner all ready for everyone by noon!!
My mom and dad stopped running around long enough to take a picture with their three daughters! I love Thanksgiving and am so thankful for my families :) I am so lucky to have such wonderful parents who do so much for us. I am so blessed to have such a great husband and the cutest little boy ever. I appreciate my health and all the comforts I enjoy. Another Thanksgiving is over, it was a small one this year (Jeremy's family wasn't here this year, besides his grandparents) but it was still a wonderful day!

Big people food...
Cameron got his first taste of "normal" food. We went to his 6 month well-check today and his pediatrician said we could start solids. They recommend you start with veggies (orange ones then green ones), move to fruits and then to cereal. So we started off with carrots.
Now that Cameron is 6 months old he weighs 15 lbs 9 oz (20%) and his height is 26 3/4 in (60%) He is such a GOOD kid! He sleeps through the night, 12 hours with NO problems or waking up! He loves his bath time and loves looking in the mirror at himself. He is always smiling and laughing. Loves to be scared and laughs when you say "boo". Cameron looks around at everything and loves watching his dog Tica. He needs to see new surroundings as he gets bored easily. We walk around the house most of the day looking at everything (even the pantry and the garage!) He isn't rolling over as much (but probabaly because of the helmet) I am guessing he won't be crawling any time soon.

3 years & counting!!
Jeremy and I celebrated our 3 year anniversary this weekend (a little early...the actual day is the 25th.) Park City has a lot of meaning to us. Jeremy asked me to marry him in Park City and we also spent 2 nights in the Marriott Resort in Park City after our wedding before we headed to North Carolina. So what better place to celebrate our anniversary? We stayed in the Marriott Vacation Club-Mountain Side Resort Thrusday night through Saturday. A HUGE Thanks to Margo, Rick and their kids for watching Cameron so we could get away. It was really hard to leave Cam for the first time, and I felt sad when I drove off without him. I texted Margo several times that first day/night to make sure he was ok and see what he was doing because I missed him. Jeremy said I needed a break...I didn't really think I did, but after we were there for a few hours I realized I NEEDED a break and was thankful for it! Also, a big thank you to my parents for watching Tica...she always loves going to Grammy & Grampy's house because she is spoiled and allowed to lay on their couches.

Should I be worried??
I'm sure everyone remembers the infamous "birdie finger" at church, which was hillarious. I thought that was just a one time incident, but apparently he really enjoys Mr. Tall finger! Just look at the strength he has in that one finger...he is holding his own bottle with it. I don't take pictures every time he flips the bird (because I would be taking several every day).
This kid cracks me up!!

Our little football player
Cameron can make anything look cute! We went today to get it fitted and an hour and a half later we left with it. Come to find out they don't cost $1,800 they are $2,600.....sheesh! Let's just hope it works for him. The guy seemed to think he will only need to wear it for 3 months. We go back next week to make sure it fits him right.
Side view...there is no chin strap so they way you keep it on is with the velcro. I picked the white velcro so it didn't stand out as much.
The back view...it is clear so the doctor can see his head and see how it is growing. There are little holes in it to let air in. He said it gets really really hot under the helmet and they sweat a lot and can get rashes...great! Good thing we are doing this during the cold months. I guess having the helmet might make his hair lay down instead of standing up?! He doesn't seem to be bothered by the helmet. He fell asleep on the ride home, so that's a good thing. Buuurrrrrr!!
I am not ready for winter...I don't feel like I really got to enjoy summer. I was pregnant and then had Cameron and didn't get outside to enjoy it. No mountain biking or waterskiing for me! It snowed the last two day and has been freezing. Cam and I stayed inside the first day it snowed. We got about 2" on our lawn that day. We ventured out the next day though...we had a lunch/play date planned at a friend's house. We didn't have to go very far, she lives in our neighborhood but I bundled up Cameron anyway. I though he looked so cute with his little beanie on.

5 months old!!
Cameron has been working on rolling over the last few days, but it was usually with help. Until today!!! He rolled over from his back to his stomach and he must have figured out that he could see other things because he wouldn't stop doing it. He hasn't got the hang of rolling from his stomach to his back so I would give him some help and then he would immediately roll onto his stomach again. I hurried to get the video camera and luckily he did it a few more times. Especially since daddy missed it, he had to go to a meeting tonight and didn't get to see Cameron's first big accomplishment.

Halloween PARTY
Grammy J had her annual Halloween party and Cameron got to join in on the fun this year!! He was the cutest little skeleton you will ever see!
After taking pictures the kids went on a hunt around the house to find a bag with their name on it...everyone's bag had a bunch of fun presents in them. Cameron got a lot of things he needed!
Frosting cupcakes was the activity after eating dinner...pepperoni pizza shaped like jack-o-lanterns.

Poor little guy!!
I feel so bad for Cameron! When we went to his 4 month well-check, the pediatrician commented that his head was showing an asymmetrical shape. She said it is very common, but it can be corrected if we catch it in time...so she recommended we go to a specalist. I took Cameron to the Dr. she referred us to a few weeks ago & he said Cameron has Positional Plagiocephaly and recommended we try Plagiocephalic Applied Pressure Orthosis also known as Cranial Remolding. I was pretty worried and nervous about all the big words, not to mention we were at Primary Children's Medical Center...the biggest hospital in the Country known to treat children with major medical issues. Although I left there a little scared I definitely felt blessed because it could be a lot worse. At least this is just a "cosmetic" issue and not a major health problem or serious medical condition like I saw with all the other kids up there! We are blessed for sure! We went last week to a place called Fit-Well Prosthetic & Orthotic Center for a consultation and to start the paperwork for the insurance...since it will be over $1800 we wanted to make sure the insurance would help out!
