Cam's 1st sleep-over

Cameron had his 1st sleep-over with his cousins. The night started off with us taking Janessa, spencer, Lindsie and Troy to play lazer tag...Margo tended Cameron and Mallory. There were 3 teams during lazer tag and our team won!! Janessa took 1st place out of the 17 people, Jeremy was 2nd and I was 4th (but I had the highest accuracy level) Lindsie was 7th and cute Troy was 17th place. We had a blast, the kids couldn't stop talking about it on the ride home. We stopped and picked up Mallory and Cameron and headed back to our house for pizza.

Mallory finished her pizza first and wanted to play with Cameron. She was really interested in his saucer and had just as much fun as Cameron, if not more, playing with it. She was really interested in the fact that it used to be hers and wanted to know "did I like this toy when I was Cameron's age?"

After dinner Spencer and Troy went to town building forts and creating things...

Janessa and Lindsie had fun playing pool...

Then it was movie time! Popcorn...Popcorn...Popcorn!! We popped 7 bags and I'm pretty sure Tica even ended up eating a few pieces (I'm sure it wasn't because the kids dropped any...) The funny thing is Cameron actually watched the movie. He was even laughing! Mallory fell asleep before Cameron did during the movie.

They picked their sleeping spots and were ready for bed...or so I thought. I really didn't expect them to go to sleep and I told them they could talk as long as they didn't wake up Mallory. An hour later (at 11 pm) I could hear them laughing their heads off. So I went down stairs to see what was so funny. They were having so much fun and being goofy. Luckily Janessa slept in the guest room so she could actually get some sleep.

In the morning, bright and early at 6 am, Jeremy turned on cartoons for them and awhile later Jeremy and Lindsie made waffles for breakfast. After breakfast The kids played hide-and-go-seek, built more forts, watched cartoons and the girls did each others hair. Then we went to Training Table for lunch Spencer and Troy are always being creative and thought it was fun to suck straws to their faces (Cameron is going to have fun with them when he grows up!) We ended the day at the park on the slides, playing frisbee and catch.

Lindsie wanted me to curl her hair, it turned out so cute.

Cameron had so much fun with his cousins he was all worn out and fell asleep at Training Table. He woke up at the park though and had all his cousins laughing. Mallory said, "Cameron is the best baby I've ever met." She is pretty hillarioius and kept Jeremy and I laughing with all the things she was saying.

4 month check up

Cameron went for his 4 month check up yesterday...wow 4 months already?! He weighs 14 lbs 4 oz (45%) height is 25 inches (50%) annd his head is 43.5 centimeters (75%). He has been doing so much better with eating and hasn't thrown up in 2 weeks. He spits up, but I can handle that...anything is cake compared to when he would hurl. I hope he has grown out of it and it doesn't sneak back ;)
As you can see, Cameron sits up on his own. He is such a strong baby and has been since day 1...lifting his head up and moving it all around. In the last 2 weeks he has become interested in toys and things that make noise. He has a few favorite toys that he will smile and laugh at when he sees them. He can hold onto things and of course tries to put everything in his mouth. Cameron is afraid of the dark...I found this out when I took him downstairs at my parents without turning on any lights and he started bawling. I thought that maybe he was crying because of something else, but the next time I went down there the same thing happened. Poor little guy!

We just put him in this saucer thing 2 days ago and he seems to enjoy it. Since he can sit up and has strong legs he is able to manuver around pretty well, but hasn't completely mastered it yet. It is new to him and that is what is important. He gets bored easily so he loves anything different and new. Cameron is very observant and looks around everywhere we go, he is constantly moving his head and eyes around to see what is going on. People in stores always comment to me "wow he is really observant".

Well, it seems that Cameron has been teething since he was 3 months old. He drools all the time and loves to suck/chew on his hand sometimes he even gets both hands in his mouth (that's pure talent). As you can see in this picture he also sucks on his bottom lip, I guess it must sooth him. He did great at his check up and of course was smiling and cooing with the doctor and nurse. He was just chattering away when she stabbed him in the left thigh and his eyes opened real wide and so did his mouth...then she stabbed the second shot in his leg and he cried! He is glad he doesn't have to go back for 2 more months.

Birthday & Baptism

Troy turned 8 yesterday and got baptized on his birthday. He thought it was cool that he got baptized on his actual birthday and said, "I will never forget what day I got baptized now."
Troy was baptized by his dad, Rick...

Congrats Troy & Happy Birthday!

After the baptism we all went to Troy's house for his birthday lunch, presents, cake & ice cream. It was a fun and special day.

Cam was so good during the baptism and confirmation, but he was sick of being good :) by the time we got to Margo & Ricks he was tired and hungry and sick & tired of taking pictues!

It's always hard to get a good picture of everyone, but at least we were all together. Troy looked so handsom in his new suit.

Grampy bought Cameron this cute shirt with a tie and missionary name tag sewen on. He looked soooo cute wearing it with his little khaki pants.

So PRECIOUS!

Cameron is 3 months and 1 week old. He couldn't be cuter! I seriously LOVE this kid. He is so much fun and makes me smile ALL day long. As much as I don't want him to ever grow up, I sure can't wait to see what he is going to be when he grows up, how he is going to look at different ages, what his personality will be, and what his interests will be....

I can't handle how cute his chin is!! I just want to squeeze it...

Janessa's soccer game

My niece Janessa made Bingham High School's soccer team and she is only in 9th grade! Way to go Jay...that is soooo awesome.

Cameron and I went to watch her game the other night, while Jeremy mowed the lawn. It's nice living so close to them...I can go do things like that on short notice. Cam watched the first half sitting in the Baby Bjorn and then fell asleep the second half, the excitement wore him out! Spencer got board from the beginning so I let him play photographer with my camera. He took some great pictures. However, I ended up deleting about 50 :)

The score board says it all. It was a shut out.
