Cade turns ONE - 06/27/2017
Happy Birthday to this kid! He loves to laugh, run, climb, jump, Swing or anything outside, He loves the water...to play in and splash, and he likes to eat. He loves french fries, bananas, yogurt, and apple sauce. He is smart and loving. He tries so hard to talk and does a lot of babbling.
His room is decorated in a travel, airplane theme so I thought I would make airplane cakes. He loves cars and airplanes!
He went for it...I didn't even have to tell him what to do! This kid loved his cake. He didn't mind the mess and was sad when we made him stop eating to get cleaned up!
That smile says it all.
Yup, it's a smash cake :)
Such a cute present. He had fun opening his gifts. He got lots of fun toys. He got a blow up swimming pool thing and a water table to play with outside.

Room makeovers - 06/21/2017
Finally got a picture of Cameron's room. We moved him downstairs a few months before Cade was born because we only have 3 bedrooms upstairs. So we moved Mackenzie into Cameron's room and made Mackenzie's old room Cade's room. Cameron chose a Starwars theme and it turned out super cute. I also did vinyl on the wall that he sees when he lays in bed. It's above his closet door and it says "I love you to a galaxy far far away and back". I did it in the Starwars font. Cameron was excited to have his own bathroom and the downstairs to himself at first. The newness wore off after a few weeks and then he started being scared to go to bed downstairs. He really struggled for a long time. I felt so bad. He didn't like being down there far away from everyone all by himself. He has gotten more and more brave and really likes having his room down there, but sometimes still struggles in the middle of the night. We find him on the living room floor most mornings!
Mackenzie got to move to a bigger room. She wanted it "girly" so we did one purple wall with the gold polk a dot vinyl decals. The rest of the walls are grey. We did pink and purple accents throughout. Her desk chair is painted pink. I re-did the desk and chair for her room. I think the whole room turned out soooo cute. I wish I could find more pictures of it to post on here!

Troop 4620 - 06/20/2017
Cameron couldn't wait to become a scout! He has been counting down the days. Tonight was his first night and he sure looked handsome in his (expensive) uniform! I spent a lot of time, blood, sweat, and tears trying to get those patches put on his shirt. The troop number on the side of the sleeve was in an awkward spot. AFTER I got them all on, someone told me about "badge magic". So I got some to use next time...when he earns all the other patches that need to be put on his shirt! Whoever invented that was genius!

Lagoon time - 06/17/2017
Taking advantage of Grampys "work" Lagoon day as long as we can! It's the best, we get to enjoy Lagoon as a family and have a delicious catered lunch! The kids look forward to it every year. It's usually the only time we go.
Cade and mommy sat out a lot of rides, but we had fun watching daddy, Cameron, and Kenzie!
Chillin' on the skyride while daddy and Cade take the stroller and walk to the other side of the park!
Bulgy the Whale ride and these two...does it get any cuter? Cade had fun, but usually wanted someone to go on the rides with him.

Baptism day! - 06/03/2017
What a great day! The sun was shining and the day was perfect. Cameron was all smiles the morning of his baptism. We were in charge of the program in the chapel for all the wards combined since we were the host ward. So we asked Cindy Arbon to speak. She had been the previous primary president, is an excellent speaker, awesome lady, and friend from our ward. After the baptism we split off and got to have our own little program in another room. Jeremy confirmed Cameron and he received the gift of the Holy Ghost. Cameron asked if I would give a talk, so I spoke on the holy ghost and the importance of baptism. Then Cameron and Mackenzie sang the song "Gethsemane". They did amazing! It's one of my favorite songs. Then Grampy Wilson gave the closing prayer.
Daddy baptized Cameron
Grammy and Grampy were there early so they could get pictures and visit with Cameron about his special day. They are such good examples for Cameron, I love that Grammy takes the time to talk to Cameron about the church and that they both bear their testimony to him.
Lots of love and support for such a special boy. It was nice to have family there to let him know he is loved! A few of his friends were also there but I didn't get a picture of them!!
Paw Paw and Maw Maw Robin flew in from Texas to be here for the special day.
After we went back to the house and had lunch. I made this shirt cake and the CTR cookies.
