Paw Paw Garry in town January 2016

Paw Paw Garry and Maw Maw Robin came to visit.  We ate at Chuck Your Grandma (that's what my kids call Chuck a Rama)

Jeremy took a day off of work and went skiing at Brighton with Paw Paw, Uncle Garry, and cousin Emma.  He kept up with all of them.  According to Paw Paw he was able to "do a black diamond...not one with mogles, but it was a difficult run"  Mommy didn't get to join the fun...one of the downfalls to being pregnant.  It sure looked like a cold day though, so I wasn't too sad!

They even came to watch one of Cameron's basketball games.  We were in charge of treats and Cameron wanted to bring his favorite cookies...snickerdoodle!

Winter Bball 2016

Another session of basketball.  Cameron did awesome and is getting better at dribbling!  He had a great team to play with and had fun!

Mackenzie had fun watching her big brother play.  She cheered him on from this "comfortable" seat!

Home spa

Mackenzie likes to play with Paige sometimes.  She is 10 years old, but she loves to play with Mackenzie.  They wanted to do a spa.  So I got out the foot bath and bath salts.  They scrubbed their feet, put lotion on them, and painted their nails.

Melt my heart

Cameron is serioulsy the most thoughtful and sweet kid!  He loves to write cards to Mackenzie and wants to buy her things.  He is usually thinking of someone and what he can do for them.  This was just a random card he wrote for his sister and even included $1 inside :)

Fashionista

I really have NO idea where she gets it, but she has it!  She is ALL girl.  She set her clothes out, including makeup, lotion, jewelery, and hair stuff, the night before church.  This is becoming a regular occurance.  She ascutally freaks out if her hair isn't combed straight or if she thinks her shoes don't match.  She says "these shoes look horrible!" or "I have nothing to wear with this..."  Oh boy I am scared if she does this at 4 what will she do at 14?!

She is totally into makeup and even asked for high heels the other day.  I have no idea what to do with her.  Where is she learning this stuff?  I can only guess from friends older siblings...or the shows she watches.  I was not like this at all.  I have always been more of a "tom boy", liking sports and getting ready quickly.  I can throw on a hat and not care.  Lord grant me patience :)  She sure is a cutie though and she cracks me up with her focus and independence!

Ski school 2016

Cameron took one ski lesson this year at Brighton.  Getting ready for Paw Paw to come to town and go skiing with him.  This was only his second lesson/time skiing ever.  He did one lesson at Snowbird last year, so we figured he better brush up on his skills :)

Kenzie's 1st Day of Last Year of PreSchool - 08/20/2016

Christmas 2015

 Christmas morning excitement!

Opening the presents they got for each other...

Cameron was so excited to pick this lego set out for Mackenzie.  He loves to give presents and he knew what he wanted to get her!

They gave mommy a giant lindor truffle...it was filled with little truffles inside

All Mackenzie asked Santa for was duct tape!  She must have been good because she got a lot of duct tape!

Santa left a sled for the family

Mackenzie made a special gift for daddy.

So all Cameron wanted from Santa was GOLD, real GOLD.  Then the cute boy crossed everything else off of his list just so he could get some GOLD!  However, a few weeks before Christmas he crossed off GOLD from his list and wrote that he wanted Santa to bring daddy his wedding ring.  He just wanted him to have his wedding ring back.  He had been so concerned ever since Jeremy threw his ring into the lakes when he was waterskiing.  So he wanted to sacrifice his presents so Santa would get that for his dad.  Seriously, he is so thoughtful!!  Luckily Santa brought him some GOLD and gave daddy a wedding ring.

Santa also brought Cameron some geoed rocks (that he had on his list).  He couldn't wait to pan for the gold and to break open his geoeds.

Grammy and Grampy came over for delish breakfast and to open presents with the kids.  They love having them come over Christmas morning to spend time with them and show them what they got!

I made this cute dress up thing for Mackenzie. It's from an old entertainment center that I painted and fixed up.  Turned out super cute!

Then we went to Aunt Margos for dinner and more presents.  I think everyone was more interested in this cake my friend made me than they were to open any more presents!  Such a cute gender reveal cake she made!  I was super nervous to cut into it!!  I had a feeling it was going to be a boy though...

  And I was right!
Cameron had fun riding on Troy's hover board. He was a pro from the second he got on it!
