Girls night out...

Daddy and Cameron went to the Real Soccer game so Mommy and Mackenzie went and got some Ice cream.  She picked blue cotton candy with gummy bears and sprinkles?!?  She ended up taking out the gummy bears because, like I told her, they would get hard and she wouldn't be able to chew them....lol

We were laughing pretty hard and had a great time.  She thought it was funny to keep tying to give me a taste of her ice cream and I would say, "ewwww no thanks!"

Fort time

Oh to be a kid again!  Cameron worked hard to build a fort in his room.  I love how he stacked some books on the chair to hold the blanket...lol.  He played in it during the day and then slept in it at night.  I actually snuck in at night, while he was sleeping, and took this picture :)

Fun at Grammy and Grampys

Cameron and Mackenzie LOVE to go to Grammy and Grampy's house.  Cameron asks almost every day if he can go over there.  He loves to listen to Grammy tell him stories and likes to spend time with them in their yard, or riding bikes etc.  Every time they go over there they get to pick something from the "grammy drawer".  Cameron picked a craft to do.  It was a wooden fish that moved and it came with paints to paint.  So Grammy got them all set up with aprons and boxes to go out on the lawn and paint.

Mackenzie was so cute to patiently watch him and wait until he was done with the paint brush and paints so she could paint the top of the box.  She had picked something else from the grammy drawer that wasn't to paint :)

Such cute kids.  Such fun memories!

Party time

Grammy and Grampy were the first to arrive and celebrate Mackenzie's birthday!

She was so excited for her party and would ask me every day when the party was.

Busted!  I had to take a picture of them.  Molly lifting Mackenzie up to sneak some of the cake...no wonder there was a few finger pokes in the fondant :)

 dinner and presents

decorating daddy with the wrapping paper was fun for the kids.

Cake time!  She loves Hello kitty, so I made a Hello Kitty cake....cheesecake cake, with a graham cracker and cheesecake filling and a strawberry cream cheese, buttercream frosting. Delish!

She put on her princess Sofia dress up dress she got and went outside to ride her new scooter around.  She is so good on a scooter, she rode all around.

Party time over, just out of the bath and in a cozy Hello Kitty towel from her birthday.  Thanks for turning 3 Mackenzie and for being part of our family.  I wouldn't know what to do without you.  You keep us laughing and one my toes.  I love your smart little brain and how it's always thinking.  I love your personality and how it's always working to make us laugh and I love your sensitive side that likes to give hugs and kisses and hold hands with your brother!

Mackenzie turns 3!

Happy Birthday to this cute little 3 year old!!  She woke up to a Birthday banner and balloons! She wanted pancakes for breakfast.  Then we got ready for school..,

Mackenzie was excited to hand out the birthday treats she helped me put together.  Her teacher got her a balloon and she got to wear the birthday crown.  Mackenzie also got to be the "special helper" at school that day.

After school we met daddy for lunch.  Mackenzie picked to eat lunch at Pei Wei.

Then she wanted to go to the mall and ride the train.

After the train ride, we got a treat and went to a super cute park!  It was such a nice day, they played for a long time.

Happy Birthday Mackenzie.  You are so sweet, funny, and smart.  You make us laugh and I don't know what we would do without you in our family!  I love your guts :)

Precious!!

Mackenzie is really into babies and dolls right now.   She is so cute to play with at this age.  She is a good "mother" to her dolls.  And she wants to take them everywhere we go.  I thought this was so cute, she fell asleep holding her baby in her carseat.   Precious!!

Kindergarten!!!

Cameron has been ready for kindergarten for a year now!  It's finally here.  He was excited for his first day, and of course looked super handsome.

He goes to Rose Creek Elementary and his teacher is Mrs Elder

He has two friends (girls) that live in our neighborhood in his class.

The first day was a success.  I didn't get a picture before I dropped him off, so this is when I picked him up :)  We met daddy for lunch, Cameron picked Training Table (good choice!!)

Big girl

Mackenzie was so excited to start preschool.  She goes two days a week Tuesday and Thursday
9-11:15.  She barely misses the deadline to start school by 3 days, but we decided she was ready and she will just end up going to 3 years of preschool like Cameron did :)

daddy surprised us all by showing up to school to wish Mackenzie a good first day!

Cameron hasn't started school yet, so he got to come with us to drop her off.  Every school day they are learning about a color so they are supposed to wear that color that day. Or bring a show and tell that color.  Today was RED.

Mackenzie likes her teacher Mrs. Tafoya

Cute school, 12 kids, lots of fun and learning going to happen this year!  I can't believe she is getting so big and growing up.  Preschool already??!!
