Halloween 2017 - 10/31/2017

 Halloween started off going to the school to see the kids' costume parade.  Cameron's was in the morning, outside around the school.  I only got a video of his and no pictures!  He was Darthvader.  After the parade I helped in his classroom with the party.  Cade dressed up as a monkey and came with me to "help".

 Makenzie is in afternoon kindergarten so her parade was later that day.  They got to walk around inside the school and the kids came out of their classrooms to look.  Cade and I stayed to help at Mackenzie's class party.  She loved having us there to help and party with her!

That night we all went trick or treating!  Dad and mom took turns taking the kids around the neighborhood while the other one stayed back and handed out candy.  Lot's of fun was had by all.

Race Day! - 10/30/2017

 One of my favorite traditions I started was running races with Cameron.  I am so excited Kenzie wanted to run too!  Cameron and I did the Hunted Half 5K in Provo this year.

 After the 5K Mackenzie and I ran the kids race.  She was proud of herself and had fun!

They always have fun pictures and activities to do after.  One of their favorites is to get their faces painted!

Field Trippin - 10/26/2017

I got to chaperone Mackenzie's Kindergarten field trip to Petersen's Farm.  It was fun to ride on the bus with her and her friends.  We got to go on a hay ride pulled behind a tractor.  We played on all the fun slides and each kid got to pick out a small pumpkin to take home.

Daddy's boy - 10/22/2017

This boy loves his daddy!  Cameron and Mackenzie were mommy's kids and Cade is a daddy's boy.  He loves to be around daddy and usually wants daddy to hold him!

Halloween Farm Fun - 10/21/2017

 We found a cute farm in Pleasant Grove that was all set up for Halloween.  We did tractor rides and went down fun slides on potato sacks.  The kids loved playing in the corn the best.  They filled up their shirts with it and laughed.

 These cute tractor swings were made out of old tires.

 We waited in a long line for the pony rides, but they thought it was worth it.  It was Cade's first pony ride.  He rode on the cutest, littlest, pony ever!

Grammy's Halloween Party - 10/20/2017

Trick or Treat!  Darth Vader, Storm trooper, and little monkey couldn't wait to get to Grammy and Grampy's Halloween party today!  It's something they talk about months before and months after!

 They always plan FUN stuff to do.  The decorated pumpkins with these cool plastic things.  

 Little monkey was having so much fun.  He was all smiles and laughs!

 Grammy tells THE BEST stories!  She does different voices, and actions and is so fun to listen to.  The kids' always love her chocolate chip ghost story.  Cade even sat there and listened to it!

Seriously he is the cutest monkey....look at that smile! 

They got to decorate cupcakes.  Eat one, or two...and take some home.  Cameron always concentrates so hard on whatever he does.  He focuses and wants to make the best of anything he is working on.  His cupcakes came out as masterpieces.  Mackenzie decorated hers so cute too.  I should have taken after pictures, but I think I was too busy making sure Cade wasn't smearing frosting all over the couch or eating all of his at one time!  Thanks again for a fun party Grammy.  You always have a good attitude and want to make things fun even when you are in pain, on crutches and don't feel good! 

Crazy hair day - 10/18/2017

 Hopefully he doesn't get a headache from all those tight little pony tails today!

Visitors from Florida - 10/15/2017

 Grammy T and Grandpa Mike came to town for Molly's baptism.  It was fun hanging out with them for a few days.  Even if Grammy T was freezing the whole time!  They brought their dog Gracie.  Mackenzie was in heaven.  She loves dogs!  Especially cute ones that let her hold them.

 It was a nice enough day to go to the park and play!

 Some of the cousins went down the slides as a train.  I got some funny videos.  The best was a slow motion one and they all shot out of the slide slow motion and laughing.

Haunted Half Marathon - 10/14/2017

Ummm it was cold today at the race!  We stayed on the bus until they made us get off.  The first few miles were slippery and icy, but then the roads were clear and the run was great!

I earned my "trilliogy" medal after this race.  If you run 3 half marathons, with Runtastic events, in the year you earn one.  I don't remember why my family wasn't there to cheer me on after but I am sure they had a good excuse  :)

A hiking we will go - 10/07/2017

 What a beautiful day to take advantage of!  I went on a nice 10 mile morning run down Big Cottonwood canyon.  Then we went hiking to Donut Falls with the Burgeners. 

Cade did pretty good in the hiking backpack, but he would only let ME carry it on my back.  Danielle tried to carry it to give me a break, but he cried the whole time she had him.  It wasn't worth it, so I took him back.  Speaking of back...mine hurt from carrying him the whole time!

The leaves were amazing!  Such a perfect fall day.  I am so happy we got to see the leaves changing at their peak!

We made it to the top.  The water falls were so pretty.  We enjoyed exploring around once we made it to the top.  Cade was loving jumping in the water and the mud.  He got soaking wet, which made for an interesting time carrying him in the pack down the mountain.

 This was the last time I got to use the backpack.  After I got Cade out of it, I set it down by the car.  I got Cade in the car and buckled him in his seat.  Then I went around to my side and got in and drove off.  I didn't realize I had left it right by the car until i got home and went to unpack the car.  I called up there to see if there was somehow I could find it but nobody had turned it in.  So sad!

Goofy Caders - 10/06/2017

Cade is such a silly kid.  His little personality comes out more and more every day.  He knew he was being silly when he put on daddy's hat!
