Sneaky, sneaky! - 02/06/2018

2/6/18

Cameron and daddy worked out a deal that if he got ready for soccer practice every day during the week and was ready to go on time he would get a treat.  So it was one of the days Cameron earned his treat.  After practice I took the kids to Maverik.  They were taking forever to pick out what they wanted.  Meanwhile Cade was down another isle...he didn't have any trouble picking out what he wanted!  He came around the corner eating this thing and I was wondering where he got it...if he just found some gross food on the floor or what?  So I went a few isles down and saw an opened wrapper with another candy still in it.  So apparently he opened it, took one and left the evidence!  I took it up and paid for it with all the other treats we got.  Too bad he picked the grossest thing in the whole store...but I guess he like it!

Fun with Paw Paw - 02/03/2018

1/27/18-2/3/18
It's always fun when Paw Paw comes to visit.  We usually cram a lot of stuff in to the few days he is here!  We had dinner at Tepenyaki...it's always a great place to eat and the kids love watching them make your food and catch shrimp.

The main reason he came to town was to ski!  I called Kenzie in "sick" for school one day and she went skiing with Paw Paw and Molly.

Another day we went to The Canyons.  Jeremy had to work that day so I just took Cameron and Mackenzie.  I told Jeremy it was good he didn't come...it saved us $135!  I had no idea ski prices went up that high!  I hadn't skied for a few years because I was pregnant with Cade one year and then was recovering the next year!

Paw Paw loves to ski and he is so patient to ski with the kids

It was a great day with this crazy group

It was a good day and we all had fun.  So much fun the kids were worn out and wanted to leave early.  So we took off while everyone else stayed and did a few more runs.  The kids were asleep like 5 minutes after we drove off.

Another thing Paw Paw loves to do is play games!  We enjoyed playing the silly game called Fibber.

Paw Paw got to go to one of Cameron's basketball games while he was in town.  Cade sat with him for some of the game.  He's not quite sure who Paw Paw is, but he warmed up to him pretty fast!

Christmas Day 2017 - 12/25/2017

The kids were so excited to wake up and see Santa left lots of presents for them!  After the whirlwind of opening gifts they played for a little bit.  Then Grammy and Grampy came over for breakfast.  Of course I made the yummy Christmas wreath and we had eggs and bacon.

Grampy pulled cade around the house on his little sled he got.

Then we went to Margo and Rick's house to exchange presents and have dinner.  It was a great day!  We enjoyed spending time with family and talking about the true meaning of Christmas.  We are grateful for the birth of our Savior!

Christmas eve - 12/24/2017

The Christmas Eve dinner and party at Grammy and Grampys was on a Sunday this year!  We decided to just head there right after church and not waste time changing :)

They had fun playing the gift exchange game.  It didn't get as "heated" as it has in the past few years.  Cameron really knows how to "steal" to get what he wants.

I love this picture of Mallory, Mackenzie and Lindsie!!

Silly Cade, always making everyone laugh.  He is such a funny kid.

Grammy and Grampy by their beautiful tree!  I miss that tree...It's such a great memory of my childhood Christmas'.  We went home and got on our Christmas jammies, put out cookies for Santa and went to bed!!

Cousin Christmas party - 12/23/2017

12/23/17
We had another Cunningham cousin Christmas party (say that 10 times fast!)  Everyone brought a present and we played the gift exchange game.

Then they decorated and ate cookies...

And lastly we drove through the illuminary light display in South Jordan.  The kids love sticking their heads out the sunroof and the windows.

Santa's lap - 12/22/2017

During the day I took the kids to the outlets to see Santa.  They had it set up really cute there.  It was like walking in his little house.  Cade wasn't impressed at all.  He was fine until I put him on Santa's lap.  I am pretty sure this will be my favorite picture of all time!!

We wandered around and saw all the reindeer and decorations around.  They have the biggest tree ever!

Temple Square lights - 12/20/2017

It's always a must to visit Temple Square at Christmastime to see the beautiful lights and reflect on our Savior's birth.  It was cold, but we bundled up and braved the cold.  The kids love to go in the visitors center and see the Christas and learn more about the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
