Mackenzie starts Kindergarten! - 08/31/2017

I can't believe it's finally time for Kenzie to start Kindergarten!  It seems like we have been waiting for this day forever.  Since her birthday is September 4th, she missed the September 1st school cutoff by 3 days!  So she had 3 years of preschool.  Needless to say, she was ready and excited for today!

 Going to school where big brother goes is going to be fun.  Cameron was actually super excited and kept saying he will pick her up from class.  

 Funny thing is Mackenzie's teachers name is Megan Wilson.

The first day is over.  She had fun.  Cameron was so happy for her and was so cute to be excited for her!

Nebo Half Marathon - 08/26/2017

 It was a perfect morning for a race.  I ran the Nebo Half Marathon with some friends.  Jeremy decided not to come bring the kids for the finish...it wasn't that close of a race.  So when I got home he had these donuts and flowers for me.  Now I wonder whats better...to have them come to the race or not (just kidding!)

3rd grade for Cam - 08/23/2017

 Cameron is ready to rock 3rd grade!  He is super excited this year because He will "get to see Mackenzie at school...and I can go pick her up after school is over."   

Make it another great year Mr. Smarty Pants!!!

Lunar Eclipse - 08/21/2017

 We spent the afternoon at my friend's house in Farmington the day of the Lunar Eclipse.  Apparently you needed special glasses to look at it without hurting your eyes, and to get the entire experience.  The glasses were hard to get your hands on and sold out everywhere.  My friend's mom had a pair so we went there to check it out.

As you can tell by the kids' expressions, it was pretty awesome.  I am glad we got to witness it.   We stayed and ate lunch and then played on their fun slip N slide.  I didn't bring a suit for Cade, but that didn't stop him from getting in on the action.  He played and got soaking wet!

Busy Saturday - 08/19/2017

 

Did the triathamom today and it was so fun!  I loved every minute of it.  It was a sprint.  It was fun to have my cheering crew at the end to cheer me in.  They had fun because they got to get their face painted and go around to some of the booths and get food.

 A few hours after my race Cameron had a soccer game.  It was the finals for the Adidas Cup tournament.  They played hard and came away with a silver medal.  We all went to Nelsons Frozen Custard for dinner and ice cream to celebrate!!

Cameron got his face painted after my race too.  He chose a soccer ball since he was going to play in his tournament that day.

Timpanogas half marathon - 07/29/2017

 I ran Timpanogas half marathon Saturday.  It was a beautiful and fun race. 

Farmer Cade - 07/22/2017

This kid is so cute and happy!  I love to play with him.  Lately he has been having fun playing with this little barn that Grammy and Grampy gave to Cameron when he was a baby!
