Happy Halloween

Yay Halloween finally came! It fell on a Monday "witch" is the same day as music class so he got to dress up for class.

This is just one example of what we do in class. She hands out a musical instrument or object of some sort and we move around the room with it as music plays. This time the hula hoops were supposed to be pumpkins and we danced around to halloween music.

I love going to music class with Cameron....he is so fun to watch and play with. They usually have story time where they sit on the little rug and as you can see Cameron is the only one who sits there the whole time. Usually he really is the only one left on the rug. The other kids are running around or sitting by their parents.

Sad to say we forgot to take pictures of Cameron trick or treating! But I took a picture of his booty (in the bag and the tub...lol) after trick or treating :)

Daddy took him around to most of the houses while mommy and Mackenzie stayed home and passed out candy. I put Kenzie in the baby bjorn since I was opening the door and handing out candy every few minutes. She actually fell asleep in it! There was a knock on the door so we went to give candy to the kids at the door and it was the cutest dragon ever...Cameron! It made me wish I had taken him around to the houses because he said trick or treat so cute :) So then I drove him over to the next street and went to about 5 houses and came home. He had so much fun and was so cute. The next day he wanted to "eat some candy that I got at peoples' houses last night"

Halloween festivities

Saturday we went to Corn Belly's. There was a lot of stuff to do and see. So much that we didn't even get to do everything.

We had fun riding the cow train. We got a coupon for a free chicken sandwich at Chic-Fil-A when we got off the ride.

Then we walked through the spooky corn maze and met different characters who passed out candy.
As we were walking out the door to go, I thought I would be festive and wear my witches hat. So Jeremy decided to go get a wig out of the costume stuff and wear it too. Cameron was already in the garage waiting for us to come get in the car. Jeremy walked by Cameron and he looked up and said "oh your wearing mommy's hair daddy" We laughed sooooo hard because he just said it like no big deal and it was normal.
What a f unny kid.

There were a lot of characters and people handing out candy. Cameron was so cute, he would say happy Halloween and trick or treat to them.

Jeremy had fun riding on the big kid bikes.
There was a clown haunted house that Jeremy took Cameron through. A few kids came out saying they were scared and they didn't think a kid as young as Cameron would like it. But Cameron liked it and wanted to go again and again. Then he wanted to go in this big dragon haunted house...we started walking into it and it made a really loud, scary growling noise that stopped him in his tracks. We decided to skip the beast.

Of course the highlight of the day was picking up rocks. It took us 20 minutes to walk to the car because there were so many "cool rocks to throw in Grammy and Grampy's ditch"

Later that night we went to a Halloween party at our friends' house. Cameron thought it was pretty funny that mom and dad were smurfs, especially because we went to the Smurf movie a few nights before. Cameron was taking a nap while we were putting on our costumes....so he didn't see us or know we were dressing up as smurfs. Jeremy went in to wake him up from his nap so we could go. I thought it might scare Cameron to wake up to a big blue person in his room, but it didn't. He just said "daddy, you are a smurf".

Cameron had a blast at the party. He loves to run and play with kids, any kids, but he especially loved playing with these two cute super girls!

We ate some yummy food....these witch fingers were quite tasty if you closed your eyes and didn't think about eating a finger :)

The kids had fun eating doughnuts, Cameron wasn't sure about the whole game of trying to eat it off of the string. But he was a good sport and tried not to cheat :)

I don't blame him....c'mon who could let a perfectly good doughnut sit on a string teasing you??

Oh boy it's time to frost cookies...

and eat cookies...

and frost more cookies...

notice the space in front of Cameron and then take a glance at the space in front of Mason. Now notice the look on Cameron's face. He was pretty much horrified that someone would even think of making such a mess. After Cameron put sprinkles on his cookie I told him he could eat it, but before he would even pick up his cookie he had to make sure the lid was put back on the sprinkles. He is a little clean and cautious, sometimes a little too clean and cautions if you ask me. I hope one day he will be able to frost a cookie without a care, and dump sprinkles on his cookie and everywhere :)

Party after party

Halloween was non-stop this year!
Friday Cameron had his preschool Halloween party.

When I came back to pick him up they were reading Halloween stories and eating popcorn

He was excited about his cookie he decorated and ate the candy off of it on the way home. He thought the pumpkin balloon was pretty cool.

Then that night we went to Cameron's music class Halloween party.... Cameron thought it was cool that daddy and Mackenzie came too!

After playing with instruments and dancing around to music, they watched a really cute puppet show. Cameron sat on the front row with some friends.

He had a great day, but was a little wired from all the stimulation and sugar. Cameron has had so much fun with all the parties and it hasn't even been Halloween yet.

Such a happy girl

I just love this little girl more and more every day!! She is so happy and smiles a lot. She started interacting and smiling and making cooing noises about two weeks ago.

She will smile and engage with pretty much anyone.

my mom says she looks like me and my baby pictures...

.... but she sure got Jeremy's dimple. The picture is too bright but it shows her cute dimple in her left cheek.

Cam and Kenzie

This was such a cute moment....we just had family prayers and it was time for Cameron to go to bed. I had Kenzie say good night to her big brother and give him a hug. Cameron was soooo sweet and excited to get a hug. So I went to get the Camera ad capture the moment!

just some cute pictures of my cute kids....

We were eating dinner one night and put Mackenzie in her swing so we could eat. Cam would take a bite of dinner and then go check on little sis. He decided she was hungry too and wanted to feed her. Too cute!!
