The doc is in!

Mackenzie loves to play Dr.  She gives me check ups and gives her dolls check ups almost every day.  She is at the cutest age right now with her imagination.  I love it!  She will say to me, "ok, do you have a problem?"  "let's see what we can do about that".  One day she said, "hi I'm Dr. Valerie" because that's the name of her own Dr.

Crazy day

Cameron had crazy hair and crazy sock day at school.  Which, also means Mackenzie had to have crazy hair....I didn't get a picture of her, but I had to explain to her teacher why her hair was purple, pink, blue and green :)

Meet Mike :)

Grammy T came to visit us and we got to meet Mike.  They have been engaged for about 3 months now!  It was a short weekend, but we packed a lot in.  Poor Mike was worn out and I am sure needed a vacation after this vacation!  With 6 "grandkids" getting to know him by climbing on him and wanting him to hold them and play with them etc, he was a trooper!

We went up to Snowbird to ride the alpine slide.  It was packed due to Oktober fest but that added more fun....people watching, and other activities!

Cameron and Mackenzie had the leaderhose wearin' balloon makin' guy build them something.  Cameron asked for a party hat and since Mackenzie was asleep on daddy's shoulder he just made her a cute heart shaped flower.

sheesh, the hat was so big it was blocking me :)

A trip/visit from Grammy T wouldn't be complete without a stop at Build A Bear!  The kids love their special time there with her.

We spent time at Day Break walking around the beach and playing at the park.  Daddy may or may not have pulled a muscle swinging on that thing....lol

We had to go to Scheels and ride the ferris wheel, and take pictures with all the animals.  Cameron thought it was funny there was a scuba diver in the fish tank?!  He was cleaning it, but it was really funny to see him in there.  I love this picture of Cameron looking up at him to see if he was real and what he was doing.

It was a fun weekend, jam packed with fun!  The kids were sad when Grammy T and "grandpa Mike" left, but we reassured them we would see them in 3 more months in Florida :)

The Orange Ninjas

They are pretty much the best team ever!  These cuties outscored their opponents something like 110-48 for the fall season.  Lots of the other coaches would complain after the games to the USA league head guy saying it wasn't fair that we were crushing all the teams every game and that we should play up a division.  Well, the sad thing is this is, a few of the kids' first times playing soccer and they are already playing up!  So funny.  Anyway, Cameron scored about 20 of those goals and he was awesome out there.  Great season Orange Ninjas!

Hanging at Grammy and Grampy's

We have had such a nice October with weather in the 80's and even a few hotter days.  So it's been great to spend time outside.  The kids love to go to Grammy and Grampy's house.  Mackenzie is so funny on the 4wheeler.  She got on and took right off.  She was having so much fun.  It was her first time driving it all by herself.

Cameron was showing Grampy his tricks on his scooter.  He loves riding his scooter.

Mojo pretty much goes everywhere with us.  He is Cameron's favorite toy/build a bear ever!

Check up time

This cute little bum went to the Dr. to get her 3 year old check up today.  She was worried until she found out she didn't have to get any shots.  She is growing (slowly) and healthy.  All went well, even her eye check ,which I was concerned about since Cameron needed glasses so early.

She weighed 27 lbs 10 oz (18%) and she 36.3 in tall (27%).  She has started to sleep better since the Dr. appointment.  She was waking up around 5 times a night for us to come in and cover he back up or find her bear.  She sleeps until 7-7:15 now!!  Which is amazing!  We aren't sure why she has just decided she will pee in her pants several times a day some days and then will go days without having any accidents.  She just seems to not care some days, and will have to change up to 4 times a day!  UGH.  She never has accidents at Costco when I have a full shopping cart and am all the way in the back of the store, she will demand she has to go to the bathroom then.  And she never has accidents at church or in the middle of a movie during the best part, requiring us to step over a row of people to go out and find a bathroom.  She just pees in her pants at home when she is standing in a room WITH a toilet???!!  Mackenzie doesn't eat very much and always says "I'm not hungry" or "why do we have to eat again"...reminds me of her Grammy :)  However, she could eat sweets or little snacks all day....reminds me of me :)  We love our little 3 year old twerp.  She is a little ray of sunshine and can be super sweet.  I love her hugs and kisses. xoxoxo

Field Trip

It had been at least 25 years since I had been on a school bus!  I volunteered to go with Cameron's class to Wheeler Farm.  Cameron was so excited to ride a school bus for his first time.  It was quite the adventure :)

I tried discreetly to get a picture of out super nice tour guide guy...I couldn't stop laughing at Cameron's comment: "mom that guy dressed up like a beaver for us today, he is wearing a beaver hat (it did have a tail in the back) and he even put in beaver teeth!"  I seriously can't stop laughing even right now, just remembering how he said it.  It was so cute, he didn't understand that this guy really just had the one or two teeth!

The tractor/wagon ride was fun for the kids.  It took us on a tour all over the farm.

The kids learned about milking cows and all sorts of farm life stuff.  The got to see a welder and he showed them how to weld metal and how to make tools and chains.  Cameron walked away telling me he wanted to be a welder when he grew up too.  It was a great day at Wheeler Farm, not only because I was there with Cameron, but because it brought back memories of going there on a field trip when I was in preschool (with my mom)!!
