Christmas time

We tried to go see Santa at the mall, but after waiting 30 minutes Cameron was tired and started to protest waiting in line by crying!! So we quickly aborted our mission and I figured we could try it again another day. I wasn't too excited to pay $30 for one picture. Then I heard the Harley Davidson store was having Santa come to their store on Saturday. I couldn't ask for anything better....Santa on a harley, free pictures, hot chocolate and doughnuts! This was a perfect way to celebrate ;)
Cameron's first time on a Harley and first time seeing Santa. He was tired so he didn't get too excited, but luckily he didn't yank on his beard!

Lindsie and Cameron at Training Table. Every year we have a family tradition to celebrate/remember my grandma Murdoch. We all eat dinner at Training Table and then head over to the mortuary where they have the whole cemetary lined with luminarys and candles on every grave (it is really neat to drive through and see all the glowing lights). Then they have a Christmas tree set up in the building and they let you hang an ornament on the tree to remember your loved one....grab a cookie and some hot chocolate and visit.

Cameron got to hang the ornament this year! He got a little crazy and ended up knocking off several ornaments that were already hung....it was a little embarassing....but we found new homes for the ornaments :)

The 3 of us by the tree

The whole fam dam by the tree...it wasn't quite as funny as last year when we took the picture but we will always laugh when we look at last years picture! Thanks mom and dad for making fun family traditions and memories!

  1. I don't know of a family that can make going to the cemetery so much fun as our family. Hope the kids don't get tired of it. Love the pictures of Cameron and all his 1st....Santa and the Harley. Thanks for going. We look forward to next year. Cameron will really want to hang the ornament then!
