Cameron can make anything look cute! We went today to get it fitted and an hour and a half later we left with it. Come to find out they don't cost $1,800 they are $2,600.....sheesh! Let's just hope it works for him. The guy seemed to think he will only need to wear it for 3 months. We go back next week to make sure it fits him right.
Side view...there is no chin strap so they way you keep it on is with the velcro. I picked the white velcro so it didn't stand out as much.
The back view...it is clear so the doctor can see his head and see how it is growing. There are little holes in it to let air in. He said it gets really really hot under the helmet and they sweat a lot and can get rashes...great! Good thing we are doing this during the cold months. I guess having the helmet might make his hair lay down instead of standing up?! He doesn't seem to be bothered by the helmet. He fell asleep on the ride home, so that's a good thing.
