It could be worse....right?

Here is Cameron coloring on paper (he loves to color), I left him alone for about 5 minutes while I went in my room to get dressed....

Apparently he didn't have enough paper so he decided to use the whole table as his canvas!

I tried to scrub it off but it still looks like this. I think I will try to use those Magic Eraser pads, but I think they take the finish off of things??

The other day we came home from the grocery store, so I was carrying in the bags and putting stuff away. Cameron stayed in the garage to play with his car. I figured he couldn't get into much in the 10 minutes it took to put all the groceries away. I had the door open so I could listen to him. He was calling Tica's name and it sounded like they were playing. Later Tica came in the house and Cameron kept yelling "Tica, come here....Tica" and finally came in the house carrying a scoop we use to get the dog food out with. Right then I knew I was in for a treat in the garage :)

I went out to find this "creative art" in the garage. I loved how he put the dog food in little piles in some places. There was dog food EVERYWHERE you could imagine....under my car, behind everything, in his wagon, in his car, behind the matress/box springs (we are giving to a family in our ward who's house burned down a month ago and they lost everything. One reason why I titled thispost "it could be worse right?")

What a kid! He can have fun doing anything. I wish I could have been a fly on the wall and watched him, I guess he thought he was feeding Tica. I tried to clean up a little bit, but I had to get dinner started since Jeremy was coming home soon and it was going to take too much time/work to clean it all up. So daddy and Cameron swept it all up when he got home :)

I have to laugh because when I think of it now, Tica was probabaly running in the house to get away from Cameron throwing food at her and so she came to "tattle" on Cameron :)

  1. Oh Meg! Just think what he is going to get into when the baby comes. NO, DON"T THINK ABOUT IT:( If he wasn't so dang cute, you could almost get mad at him.

  2. Haha, that is so funny - but probably more funny because I didn't have to clean it up, but yes, again, he is Jeremy's son, most definitely! But I do love that art work on the table, and if I could do it all over again, in my wisdom of realizing everything I did wrong, I would have probably left those pieces of art, because now I realize that is what life is about, and how much you miss that when your children are grown and not around!! Most of us are too busy getting to our destination to enjoy the journey, but I see you and Jeremy really enjoying the journey - how nice that is for Cameron!!

  5. They think the strangest things are fun to dump and spread. He reminds me of Zane...that kid got into everything and loved and still loves to mow the lawn. Let's hope it lasts until he's 20.
