This was our first time at the zoo since they opened the new African Savannah safari section. It was super cool. The kids were excited the train was back in business....and it didn't hurt that the friends we went with had unlimited train rides and carousel rides!
All the animals were out and we got some great pictures up close and personal. This is the first time Hogle Zoo has had Lions too, so it was awesome they were awake and so close!

Cameron had my phone during one of the train rides and he took several "selfies" it was quite hilarious. I guess he got tired of taking pictures of the animals the 10th ride :)
You can't say the kids haven't had a wonderful summer. You are a great mother to give them all these experiences. Laughing my head off at Cameron's "selfie"
