Siince the 4th fell on a Sunday this year, we celebrated the holiday all weekend. Saturday night we had a neighborhood BBQ and watched a great illegal firework show :) Our neighbor had a bunch of boxes full of fireworks he bought somewhere. After we ate dinner and were waiting for it to get dark enough to start the show, Jeremy gave Cameron a bath and put him to bed. I thought for sure he would wake up when the bombs started going off and wouldn't be able to go to sleep. But he slept right through it all...he must get that from his dad :)

This was the beautiful sunset we enjoyed while eating dinner.

Everyone getting ready for the big show....it was actually a little cold so we had blankets and sweatshirts.

OOOHHH, AWWHHHH

EEHHHH, AWWHHH

My two handsome boys all dressed in their Sunday best sporting red, white, and blue.

On Monday morning my family met at IHOP for breakfast and then we headed out to Tooele to enjoy a day full of waterskiing, wakeboarding, riding motorcycles, and hanging out at Last Chance Lakes. Rick and Margo are what we like to call "waterski snobs"...they bought a bunch of property to build a private lake on so they could ski glass water anytime they wanted and not deal with a million boats and choppy water. We can't tease them too much though because it benefits us too right?! They plan to build another house out there since they spend the whole summer out there. So far they only have the boat doc/house built...we enjoyed hanging out up top eating lunch and Jeremy and the kids had a blast jumping off the top into the water. You can go to
http://www.lastchancelakes.com/ to learn more about the lakes or to purchase a lot and enjoy the rights of skiing the private lake too :)

Grammy, Cam, and Daddy chillin

Cameron had a blast just hanging out in the ski boat. He was such a good boy for being in the heat all day and not taking a nap. It was a long day for him, but he had a blast!

Grampy, Cam, and Grammy on the boat.

Me getting ready to wakeboard.

Jeremy got up wakeboarding for his first time. He did awesome! After wakeboarding we got on their other boat (ski boat) to do some waterskiing. Unfortunately the camera didn't make it with us on that boat. When Margo was making the turn to give Jeremy the rope she hit a huge wave that covered the boat and soaked everything. My camera was simming and drowned. May it rest in peace :) Just know there will be no more blog posts until we get a new camera :( I am surprised at how many times a day I go to get my camera to take pictures of Cameron...just habit.

The water is so blue and pretty, it was perfect weather, the views were awesome and it was a fun and relaxing day. Jeremy and I even rode our motorcycles around while Cameron played with everyone (mostly Grampy his favorite person).

Troy getting ready to wakeboard. He is so good and is only 8!

Cameron had fun on the beach, but was a little hesitant to play around in the water.

Mommy, Cameron, and Mallory playing in the sand. What a fun day we all had. We can't wait to get out there again soon. I am excited for Cameron to learn to ski...maybe next year?!
Looks like a fun time, so nice all the family was together! Cameron gets cuter every day, if that's possible, and he is really handsome in his 4th of July outfit, and daddy looks pretty cool too!
