A fun weekend

My parents rented a house/cabin up in Heber for the weekend. We stay somewhere up there every year. We always have a ton of fun hanging out, watching movies, hot-tubbing, laughing, eating and visiting!
We played Chinese Checkers....

Troy and Cam hanging out on the bed watching football with Jeremy.

Cameron had fun on some of the rides in Park City at the outlets. It was funny because he got on this dump truck and thought it was so cool. He was shocked when it started moving all around and wasn't sure what to do. It was his first experience on one of these rides :)

The cutest thing ever was when I looked over and saw Troy and Spencer reading to Cameron on the couch at the cabin. For some reason it seems normal for the girl cousins to play with Cameron and have fun with him, but when the boy cousins hang out with him it seems extra special (especially because they are so much older than Cameron). Both Troy and Spencer are so cute with him...they were worried about small beads being on the ground because they didn't want cameron to swallow them. Troy laughs at Cameron all the time because he thinks he is so "cute" and "funny"

Mallory and Cameron had fun together. Mallory is a silly cousin :) She likes to play with Cameron and his toys.

The place was "pet friendly" so we brought Tica and Michele brought their dog Archie. Cameron wanted to take Archie for a walk....

One morning Cameron left the room for a minute and it was really quiet in the room he went in. So Jeremy peeked in the room and saw Cameron in Archie's cage....he came to get me and I grabbed the camera. What a funny kid!

Eating at Dairy Keen is always a must when we go up to a cabin every year. The kids love to eat on the train outside and watch the little electric train inside the place that goes around the entire celing.

Camerons latest obsession....playing with light switches. At least he can reach these ones by himself. Usually I have to hold him up to the light switches and stand there while he flips them on and off for 30 minutes or until my arm falls asleep :)

I wish I had taken a video of Grammy blowing bubbles....He goes CRAZY for bubbles. He loves to grab them and squeels and laughs. He says bubbles so cute too!
Isn't that the cutest smile ever?!

Cameron had fun "jumping" to Grampy over and over. I say "jumping" because for some reason he really doesn't know how to jump (he never has), he just falls to you. But he sure has fun doing it!

Of course Cameron wouldn't let Grampy out of his sight as usual. He cries when Grampy goes to the bathroom and he can't see him! They have a special bond :)

Cameron, Spencer, and Jeremy shooting pool....Cameron mostly yelled "ball...ball" and then had fun carrying around the pool stick.

Yup...ring around the rosies was played over and over....and if you came in the room you were included in the game. He goes over and grabs your finger and brings you into the circle.

Notice how the adults "fall down" and how the kids fall down! There is something about getting older....it's harder to get up :)

Janessa, Michele, Me, and Margo

My cute family on the cabin deck. We had a great view...it was very pretty and peacefull up there!

Grammy and Grampy with their grandkids....2 of the 6 are already taller than grammy :)

A cousin picture....with cameron floating in the air. He was soooo tired and needed a nap. He was sick of pictures. He fell asleep in the car 30 seconds after we took off....poor little guy had a busy, fun weekend!

The guys....Barry, Jer, Cam, Grampy and Rick. Thanks mom and dad for the fun weekend. It's always fun every year. I can't wait to see wherer we stay next year!!

  1. Even though we didn't do any super exciting activities its always fun to just get away from everything and spend a few days with extended family. I sure am lucky to have married in to such a great family. Thanks again Grammy and Grampy for planning this fun weekend getaway.
