As you can see....there were about a million people in just the 2 and under area. They obviously planed for a ton of kids because the grass was covered with candy, eggs, gift certificates, and stuffed animals. Cameron's basket was full. As we were trying to leave the area, I noticed a cute little boy and his dad and his basket only and 2 things in it, so I said to Cameron "we should share some of our stuff with this little boy, he didn't get much." So we gave him some stuff. It's never too early to teach kids empathy and kindness!

Cameron sporting the mask and pinwheel he got at the egg hunt. He talked about it the ride home, and the next day. He still talks about Grammy & Grampys egg hunt and makes me hide the eggs at home & then he opens them up! I wonder how long this is going to last....maybe I need to put the Easter stuff away :) It was definitely a FUN Easter, holidays just keep getting more & more fun the older Cameron gets!
Thanks for taking such cute pictures of your Easter. I wish we had come to your house for breakfast:) Grampy had fun hiding all those eggs. I had fun putting the money and candy in them. It was fun watching the kids trying to find them. The best egg was the golden egg!!!!! Janessa was the lucky one to find it and tell us.
ReplyDeleteI am trying to decide why you didn't put in your blog what the golden egg told us?????? We are so excited for Sept. 7th to come.
I guess I read your blog too soon. Of course you couldn't have just said it is going to be a girl or a boy. Not Meg. You get those creative juices flowing and we never know what is going to come out of your mouth:)
