8 months already

Mackenzie is 8 months old and has learned so much in the last month.  She is such a determined little girl!!  She crawls and reaches and rolls over anything that is in her way just to get to what she wants.  She knows when we are eating "real" food and struggles so hard to get to it....often grabbing something from our plates or hands and puts it in her mouth faster than we can get it away from her.  She continues to be such a good natured girl and is happy all the time. She smiles at anything she can, especially her brother and daddy.  Mackenzie is such an active baby, even more than Cameron was which I never thought would be possible.  She is almost all better from her ear infection, with the help of the 3rd round of antibiotics.  We are close to having her back to sleeping through the night.  We started the Ferber method again (for the 3rd time due to her being sick several times) and she is a quick learner, but also has a good set of lungs!  She has been confused with all of our inconsistencies for the past 3 weeks...I can't let her cry when she is sick, so therefore I created some patterns of taking her out of her crib and holding her to get back to sleep every time she cried in the night (about 13 times a night when she is sick).  So hopefully we will get her re-trained and to sleep through the night again!  

Mackenzie LOVES this jumper that Grammy and Grampy bought for Cameron when he was 6 months old.  We thought Cameron would love it since he was active and always liked to jump when you stood him on your lap.  However, he never figured it out and just liked to swing back and forth rather than jump.  So Luckily Mackenzie is putting it to good use.  She gets so excited to see it.
