Our 4th of July started off at IHOP for breakfast....with Grampy and Grammy
....then we headed out to Last Chance Lakes. Margo was the hostest with the mostest since Rick was in Alaska this year.
Cameron doesn't usually like to get in the water (unless it is his bath), but he got in for a little while. Kenzie on the other hand didn't want to get out of the water! She is going to be our little fish. Ironic how that works when she is the one with tubes in her ears and shouldn't swim! She splashed all around and didn't want me to hold her. She kept trying to stick her head in the water and eat it or something.

Cameron surprised us all when he said he wanted to go on the tube. He was excited, but said he wanted to go "slow". I never in a million years would have expected him to have a cautious side. He really is cautious, studious, and very careful (unless it comes to climbing or jumping off everything!)

He just had fun playing on the beach and digging in the sand. What a fun day!
Oh, I am so glad you got all these fun pictures. What a great time we all had. So glad Cameron learned he liked the water. Cute little Mackenzie certainly is going to be your fish. Thank you Margo for the fun we all had and thank you Meg for taking the pictures to prove it.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a fun time...I love the picture with Mackenzie's red, white and blue head band, and the sleeping pictures are the best, so sweet and innocent. I miss those two little ones.
