Cameron has been wanting to do a lemonade stand all summer!! He helped daddy build the stand and then helped mommy made the signs. He did such a good job making the signs that said what he was selling and the price...so cute!!
For the first part of the day Cameron and Mackenzie ate more cookies and drank more lemonade than they sold. It was pretty slow start, we picked a not so good Saturday :( at least 5 families in the neighborhood were out of town and several others were boating and gone all day.
However, they had fun and had several customers. Including Aunt Michele and Uncle Barry. Cameron was so excited they came and bought stuff. A few of the neighborhood kids came and stayed to hang out in the tree and keep from getting bored.
He ended up making $10.75 and even shared a little bit with Mackenzie for helping and couldn't wait to pay his tithing on it. He got the envelope all ready and gave it to the bishop the next day.
Summer is almost over, hopefully we can get in one more lemonade stand before.
We were so sorry we couldn't get over there that day.
